Pier Drilling: The Process
Building on unstable soil can lead to disaster. Pier drilling provides a stable, sturdy foundation where structures can be built. But how exactly are we able to create stability in our harsh desert environment? With our excellent drills, of course!
In most cases, we will use our auger to drill deep underground. Once we reach bedrock, the pier itself can be installed. The final result will be an incredibly solid foundation, supporting all that will be built above. If the soil is far too soft, then we’ll use our bell tool to create a wider shaft at the bottom of the hole. This allows us to provide additional support for the pier.
Our drills are as powerful as they are reliable. Much of our fleet can fit under the tightest of clearance levels. Some of our drills can also be easily be transported without disassembly.
